► Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Fez – Middle Atlas – Erfoud – Merzouga
Departure from your accommodation in Fez towards the dunes of Merzouga, crossing the city of Ifran and the city of Arzrou known for its cedar forest where you can see monkeys in the nature. Then we continue towards Midelt where we will have breakfast. From there we cross the Ziz valley with its magnificent landscapes. We will arrive to Errachidia and then to Erfoud known for its fossils and the production of marble. We continue to reach the town of Merzouga, crossing a desert of black stones. Then your camel driver will take you through the magnificent dunes of Erg chebbi to your camp to spend the night in a nomad tent for a peaceful night. Dinner will be served around the campfire with the atmosphere of Berber music.
Day 2: Merzouga
Get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After your breakfast, we go to the village to meet our 4×4 and head to Taouz to see rock carvings, then we stop to visit a nomadic family that lives in haimas. From there we will arrive at the village of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians, you will enjoy a typical Berber lunch. Then we go to the lake to see a magnificent reflection of the dunes in it. Ideal for capturing beautiful photos. From there we leave for the Merzouga village and ride our camels to reach the camp in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and accommodation in Berber tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fez
We leave the dunes of Erg chebbi after your breakfast. We ride a camel to reach the Merzouga village. From there we depart for the city of Rissani to visit the mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif Alaoui. Then to cross Erfoud and Errachidia to reach the Ziz valley and then to Zaida where we will have our lunch. In the afternoon we continue to the city of Fez via Azrou and Ifrane. We drop you off at your accommodation.
