8 days Camel trek in the Mhamid desert:
Day 01: MARRAKECH
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, our team will pick you up and drive you to the hotel where dinner will be served.
Day 02: Marrakech – Mhamid – RASS N’KHEL
Its path runs alongside the Jebel Tiffernine before entering the Saghro massif which it crosses via the Tizi n’Tinififft pass. Here is now the magnificent valley of Drâa, its qsour and its kasbah, which extends to the village of M’hamid, where the camel drivers await you. After lunch, start your hike through the palm grove to the dunes of Rass N’khel.
Day 03: RASS N’KHEL – DUNES D’AIT OUNIR
Your caravan heads towards the dunes of Aït Ounir, in the middle of a landscape of sand and regs dotted with tamarisk. In the distance we can already see the first dunes of Erg Zaher as well as the Hamada of Draa.
Day 04: AIT OUNIR – TELHATTIN WELL
You cross the Oued Drâa and head north, with the Jebel Bani under your eyes. You go up the Erg Smâr and the well of Tel Attin where you settle for the night.
Day 05: TELHATTIN – Erg Ezzahar
The dunes move further and further away and give way to the immense tray that forms the buttresses of Jebel Bani. After a few stops in the shade of the tamarisks, you will arrive at the end of the afternoon at Oued L’AATACH.
Day 06: Oued AATACH – MHAMID
Erg to join Mhamid. Here and there you can see many canals which carry water to the crops. Rest and shower, night camp in the desert.
Day 07: Mhamid – Marrakech
You will find your vehicles to leave Mhamid and go up the Draa valley to Agdz and cross the mountain to Marrakech.
Day 08: Marrakech
Transfer to the airport and assistance until boarding.
